Andy Thomas is one of Britain's leading authors and lecturers on unexplained mysteries and global cover-ups.
Andy is author of seven books exploring the unexplained, including Vital Signs: A Complete Guide to the Crop Circle Mystery (1998, revised 2002), which has been described by many as the definitive guide to its subject and was nominated for Kindred Spirit magazine's 2002 Best Book award, while 2009's The Truth Agenda (revised 2011) has been widely hailed as the best available overview of mysteries and conspiracies.
Andy's other books include Fields of Mystery: The Crop Circle Phenomenon in Sussex (1996), Quest For Contact: A True Story of Crop Circles, Psychics and UFOs (1997, with Paul Bura), Swirled Harvest: Views from the Crop Circle Frontline (2003), A Oneness of Mind: The Power of Collective Thought and Signs of Our Times (2003), and An Introduction to Crop Circles (2004, revised 2011).
Andy has written articles for many publications, and regularly contributes to Nexus Magazine. He is also author of several books about his historical birth town of Lewes in East Sussex, England, once the residence of inspirational writer and libertarian Thomas Paine and site of the world's largest annual Guy Fawkes celebrations.
Andy is the founder of Vital Signs Publishing which, in 2005, produced Geoff Stray's acclaimed and influential book Beyond 2012: Catastrophe or Ecstasy, edited by Andy.
Amongst other engagements, each summer Andy is co-MC for The Glastonbury Symposium, one of the UK's longest-running and largest annual alternative conferences. He is also co-founder of the Changing Times organisation, which holds regular events on alternative views and truth issues, as well as being a gigging keyboard player with guitarist Phil Light.
A very active lecturer, Andy is renowned for giving striking live presentations, and speaks extensively across Britain, as well as in many other parts of the world, including America, Australia, Brazil, Peru and various European countries.
Andy has made numerous radio and TV appearances, including UK television spots on Channel 4's Richard and Judy, ITV's GMTV, BBC 2's Esther, BBC 1's The One Show and Sky 1's Pineapple Dance Studios, and has featured in many programmes in countries across the globe.
